The Wisconsin Badgers don’t have much of a problem getting buckets, and the Ohio State Buckeyes can attest to that.
On Saturday, the Badgers clobbered the Ohio State Buckeyes at Kohl Center in Madison for a 92-82 victory. Against the visiting Buckeyes, Wisconsin basketball shot 52 percent from the floor.
The Badgers shot a decent 9/26 from the 3-point region and had their way in the shaded area for most of the contest. Wisconsin outscored the Buckeyes in the paint, 40-32. The Badgers also recorded 16 assists to just nine by the visitors.
With their offensive output in the contest, Greg Gard’s squad set a new school record.

In the win over Ohio State, @BadgerMBB scored 92 points, reaching 90 for the 9th time this season. That marks the most 90-pt games in a single season in school history, surpassing the previous high of 8 (1961-62 and 1993-94). Wisconsin is 14-0 when scoring 80+ this season.
Wisconsin leaned on the three-headed monster attack of John Blackwell, Nick Boyd and Austin Rapp to dismantle the Buckeyes.
Blackwell led the Badgers with 22 points on 8/13 shooting, while Boyd added 21 points on 6/15 shooting. Rapp had his best game in a Wisconsin uniform, as the former West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year went off for 19 points on 7/10 shooting with five 3-pointers.
So far in the 2025-26 college basketball season, Wisconsin is 26th nationally with a 122.2 adjusted efficiency on offense, per Barttovik.
