Missouri QB Beau Pribula to enter NCAA transfer portal

The Missouri Tigers will be going into the 2026 season without the services of quarterback Beau Pribula.

Perhaps that's not surprising. Pribula spent three seasons (one as a redshirt) at Penn State under James Franklin before transferring to Missouri this past offseason.

Pribula beat out redshirt junior Sam Horn for the starting job in camp, but this season didn't turn out the way the former three-star quarterback from York, Pa., had hoped for.

Perhaps that's why he's deciding to enter the NCAA transfer portal. He'll be a graduate transfer and will be looking for the chance to make one final impact at the college level. Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reported the news of his decision.

Beau Pribula had an up-and-down season for Missouri in 2025

It was a bit of a roller-coaster season for Pribula at Mizzou. For instance, he threw for 334 yards and three touchdowns in a comeback win over Kansas in Week 2. He didn't throw a touchdown in losses to Auburn and Oklahoma, but he did throw two picks in each game.

He started 10 games in 2025, missing two because of an ankle injury he suffered on Oct. 25 against Vanderbilt. In all, he threw for 1,941 yards and 11 touchdowns compared to nine interceptions. He also rushed 95 times for 297 yards and six touchdowns. Pribula is an intriguing dual-threat quarterback with plenty of experience, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up in the portal.
