Charlie Puth announces positive COVID-19 test: 'I'm not feeling amazing'

This is not how Charlie Puth envisioned his holiday season.

The singer, songwriter and producer revealed he tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday morning (Dec. 15):

"Hey everyone," Puth tweeted. "I tested positive for Covid this morning. I’m not feeling amazing but I think the worst is behind me. I write you this update, feeling like complete ass, in hopes that you will be safe and careful this holiday season. Love you and I’ll speak to you very soon."

Puth celebrated his 30th birthday earlier this month:

In June, the four-time Grammy nominee updated his fans as to why the release of his third studio album is taking so long. His sophomore album Voicenotes came all the way back in May 2018.

This year was far from a wash for Puth, though, as he is credited as a co-writer and co-producer on The Kid LAROI's "Stay" featuring Justin Bieber, which has dominated the charts since its July 9 release.
