The No. 3 seeded North Carolina Tar Heels played a very good all-around game in their 85-68 win over the No. 6 seeded Virginia Tech Hokies in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Ally ACC Women's Basketball Tournament. Lanie Grant came out of the gate on fire and had a big 3rd quarter on her way to a team-high and career-high 21 points on 8-12 shooting, including 4-7 from three-point range while Nyla Harris finished with a double-double, recording 19 points on 8-11 shooting and 10 rebounds. Elina Aarnisalo chipped in 18 points and Nyla Brooks added 10 points and 6 rebounds for Courtney Banghart's squad. Carleigh Wenzel made 14 of 15 foul shots on her way to a game-high 26 points in the loss.
