Manager Kurt Suzuki stated after that game that Neto will have additional testing done on his hand, and nothing definitive is known regarding the injury.
While not related, it is worth noting that Neto’s 2025 season, which he started on the IL, ended due to a hand strain.
Cubs outfielder/DH Seiya Suzuki departed Team Japan’s game against Venezuela on March 14, during the country’s quarterfinal game. Per the team, it was due to knee discomfort.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo stated that Gabriel Moreno does not have any structural damage to his elbow. He did not play on the 13th thanks to what was initially reported as forearm tightness. However, Moreno is dealing with elbow inflammation.
