The Atlanta Hawks are suddenly the hottest team in the NBA.
Atlanta rolled past the Milwaukee Bucks, 122-99, on Saturday to extend its winning streak to nine games. That is the longest active streak in the league, as relayed by Andscape’s Marc Spears.
It is also the franchise’s longest run since the 2014-15 season, when the Hawks won a team-record 19 straight.

CJ McCollum led the way with 30 points, while Jalen Johnson delivered a monster night with 23 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Dyson Daniels each added three steals as Atlanta controlled the game from start to finish.
The Hawks have quietly climbed the Eastern Conference standings during the run and, without a doubt, are playing their best basketball of the season.
