Giants 2025 Three-Round Mock Draft

With the 2025 NFL Draft just around the corner, that means mock draft season.

The New York Giants hold four picks in the top 100, including the third overall pick. With many holes on the roster, Joe Schoen can take almost any route.

Using mockdraftcentral.io, here is a three-round mock draft that could fill a lot of the Giants’ needs:

Pick 3: Abdul Carter, EDGE

Assuming Cam Ward and Travis Hunter are already selected, Carter is the best player on the board.

Carter is a supreme talent as an edge rusher who will make the Giants one of the scariest pass rushes in the league. With his supreme bend, handwork, and IQ, Carter is among the most gifted pass rushers of the decade.

The previous concern about his foot injury does not seem to be a problem for the top teams in the draft, which is a sign that it won’t affect him in his rookie year. With Carter lined up across Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence in the middle, it will be impossible for teams to have favorable one-on-one matchups with the G-Men.

Pick 34: Derrick Harmon, DL

Besides Dexter Lawrence, the Giants have an extremely weak interior defensive line.

The weak interior is the main reason they finished 27th in rushing defense last year. The Oregon lineman would fix a lot of those issues. Having 11 tackles for loss last season, Harmon is a force on the interior, standing at 6-foot-4 1/2 and 313 pounds, with 34 3/8″ arms.

Harmon uses his size very well. He can wrap up runners by just getting a hand on them. His block shedding is also exceptional. He can fly off the blocker and tackle the nearby runner or cause the quarterback to scramble out of the pocket. Harmon’s absorption of double teams will cause one-on-one opportunities for the G-Men’s elite edge rushers and Dexter Lawrence.

Pick 65: Jonah Savaiinaea, OG

After the disappointing signing of Jon Runyan and the underwhelming play of Greg Van Roten, a guard is the line’s highest priority. Savaiinaea is a monster of a man, standing at 6-foot-4 and 324 pounds. He has proven to be a good pass protector, only surrendering four sacks in 738 snaps last season and having a 75.9 PFF grade for Arizona.

For too many years, the Giants have had among the worst offensive lines in the league. Because of that, they have been first in sacks allowed (360) since 2018. Drafting a solid lineman like Savaiinaea can change the entire Giants’ offense.

Pick 99: Xavier Restrepo, WR

Miami’s Swiss Army knife receiver is an excellent weapon to draft.

Cam Ward’s number-one target showed he could do it all last season. Restrepo mainly functions in the short game, being a reliable short target that can run after the catch. This may sound similar to Wan’Dale Robinson, but Restrepo can do much more.

Restrepo averaged 16.3 yards per catch last season, over double the yards Robinson averaged per catch (7.5). Restrepo brings excellent value with his flexibility, being able to play in nearly any formation because of his good blocking and ability to run deep routes. Outside of Malik Nabers, the Giants lack dynamic receivers who can play different roles on the offense, and Restrepo can do that.
