Super Bowl Champion Goes Viral After Being Spotted on Popular Dating App

After winning Super Bowl 59 with the Philadelphia Eagles in his rookie season, Johnny Wilson has gone viral on social media for a very unexpected reason. The 6'6 receiver out of Florida State wasn't spectacular in his first year in the NFL, recording just five catches for 38 yards and a touchdown.

Even so, he has quickly become a trending topic on social media after he was spotted on the popular dating app called "Hinge." In his "my uniform" section, he opted to use a picture of him in his Eagles uniform lining up for a snap, making it clear he's not trying to hide his use of the app.

The response to this post was overwhelmingly in favor of Wilson as many people thought Dov Kleiman was being inconsiderate for making fun of him for something that is very normal.

One fan said, "Wow man so what.," highlighting that it's no reason to make a joke out of him. Another fan added, "What's wrong with that? Everyone needs someone."

One fan even noted that this is the same way that Eagles and NFL legend Jason Kelce met his wife Kylie as they met on Tinder, saying, "This is how Jason Kelce met his Philly sweetheart." It's very nice to see the support from these fans in a space that there is typically a lot of negativity.

As Wilson looks onto next season, he will be hoping to have a bigger impact on the Eagles' offense. With the potential departure of tight end Dallas Goedert, he will likely have increased opportunity in a position that could be more fitting with his skillset.
