The St. Louis Blues will be represented on hockey’s biggest international stage in 2026, as goaltender Jordan Binnington and defenseman Colton Parayko have been named to Canada’s Olympic roster for the Milano Cortina Winter Games.

Hockey Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee unveiled the roster Wednesday, with Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong leading Canada’s management group. Team Canada will begin Olympic play on Feb. 12 against Czechia, following the start of the men’s hockey tournament on Feb. 11.

Binnington brings extensive international experience to the roster. The 32-year-old has spent his entire NHL career in St. Louis and holds franchise records for wins and games played by a goaltender. The upcoming Olympics will mark another chapter in a lengthy history of representing his country.

This season, Binnington has appeared in 20 games, posting a 7‑9‑6 record with a 3.44 goals‑against average and an .870 save percentage, anchoring the Blues goaltending. Earlier this year, he played a key role in Canada’s title run at the 4 Nations Faceoff, posting a 3‑1‑0 record and delivering a standout performance in the championship game against the United States. He followed that showing with a strong outing at the 2025 World Championships and has also appeared in multiple previous international tournaments, including the World Juniors.

Parayko, also 32, has been a fixture on the Blues blue line since being drafted in 2012. He ranks among the franchise leaders in games played and sits near the top of the team’s all-time scoring list among defensemen. Through this season, he has recorded 0 goals and 11 assists for 11 points. While he has not been a goal scorer Dough Armstrong views him a “tough to play against”.

Internationally, Parayko has consistently contributed for Canada. He joins Binnington on the Olympic roster after the two helped Canada win the 4 Nations Faceoff earlier this year. Parayko has also made three appearances at the World Championships, earning top player honors in 2024 and leading all defensemen in goals during the 2018 tournament.

With Binnington and Parayko selected, the Blues will send two of their longest-tenured players to represent Canada when Olympic hockey returns in 2026.
