The '3-assist Stanley Cup Final games' quiz

Despite the Carolina Hurricanes reaching the Stanley Cup Finals, there’s been plenty of noise surrounding the lack of production from their top-line players and their power play.

But with the series tied 2-2 in Game 5, Caniacs got to see fireworks from both.

After Jordan Staal made history by scoring in his fifth-straight Stanley Cup Final game to begin a series, Andrei Svechnikov scored two power-play goals while Sebastian Aho added a goal of his own in the Hurricanes 4-2 win.

They also got another strong performance from goaltender Brandon Bussi, who is now 2-0 as a starter in his playoff career and the first goalie to get and win both of his first postseason starts in the Stanley Cup Final.

Carolina heads back to Vegas with a chance to win the Stanley Cup on Sunday, boasting an offensive machine that has scored at least four goals in every game of the series so far.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Three of the Hurricanes goals were set up by Nikolaj Ehlers, who became the 57th player in the Modern Era to dish out at least three assists in one Stanley Cup Final game. How many of those players can you name in seven minutes?

Good luck!
