Carolina Hurricanes captain Jordan Staal is the elder statesman on the team at 37 years old and in his 20th NHL season. He also may have just saved the Hurricanes hopes to win the Stanley Cup.
Down 2-1 heading into Game 4, Staal scored two crucial goals (including the game-winner in the third period) to send the Stanley Cup Final back to Raleigh tied 2-2.
The Hurricanes will look to become the first team to win back-to-back games in the series at the Lenovo Center on Thursday night with the question of who will be in net for Game 5 looming for head coach Rod Brind’Amour.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to score at least five goals in one Stanley Cup Finals since the Expansion Era began in 1967-68 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
