Now this is what you call a VERY wild transfer rumour – Cristian Ronaldo to Chelsea this summer, anyone?

The guy is now 41-years-old but of course, due to how well he looks after himself, still plays like he is in his mid 30s!

Ronaldo, who turned 41 earlier this month, is still playing football over in the Saudi League of course, but he has been wildly linked to a move to Chelsea this week.

But just how crazy is that story? And who is reporting it?

Ronaldo to Chelsea?

Well, via a report from Football Insider earlier this week, Ronaldo is being linked with a move to Chelsea.

They claim that Chelsea are monitoring Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation at Al Nassr FC amid exit speculation, with the Blues among the few clubs capable of financing a deal and viewing it as a major commercial opportunity.

Haha, nope, no, absolutely NOT true. I’d put my house on that not being true. Chelsea wont pay his huge wages, and they certainly will not be looking to sign a 41-year-old, no matter if he is still world class! Next rumour please! I think we can shelve this one in the ‘absolutely no chance’ file.

The appointment of Liam Rosenior as Blues boss was seen as a bit of a gamble by Chelsea fans, but one pundit likes his style so far.

Chelsea have rebuffed claims that they will have to sell top players in the summer transfer window for various reasons, and say they are complicit with UEFA’s financial rules.
