Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese was ecstatic about her team’s victory against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday.
Reese couldn’t hide her excitement during their 91-75 win over Connecticut, opening their Commissioner’s Cup campaign on the right note.
Atlanta used a strong fourth quarter run and outscored Connecticut, 23-10, to secure the win in front of their home fans.
Reese finished the game with a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds, to go along with five assists and one steal.
This production is at par with her season averages of 13.0 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
The No. 7 pick from the 2024 WNBA Draft posted a TikTok dance video to commemorate the win, along with teammates Te-Hina Paopao, Aaliyah Nye and Indya Nivar.
“dubssss in the chat,” wrote Reese in her TikTok caption.

The two-time WNBA All-Star also recorded her first three-point field goal for Atlanta and marked 1,000 career points.
Meanwhile, the scoring duo of Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray continues to shine for the Dream, as they led the squad on the offensive end with 36 and 26 points, respectively.
This victory was their sixth of the season, and they are now riding a two-game win streak.
Reese and Atlanta have solidified their place atop the Eastern Conference and are just 0.5 games behind the league-leading Minnesota Lynx.
Atlanta will now hit the road on Thursday to face the reigning Commissioner’s Cup champions, the Indiana Fever, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
It will be a heavyweight matchup for the two teams, especially with the history between their main stars, Reese and Caitlin Clark.
Reese will look to secure her sixth double-double outing this season and continue her dominance on the boards.
