Team USA's upcoming FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup qualifiers are nothing more than qualifying games after winning the 2025 FIBA Women's AmeriCup. This gives Kara Lawson, the team's head coach, the opportunity to experiment with incorporating unproven players into the senior setup before choosing the final roster to send to Berlin in September.

While all eyes are fixed on Caitlin Clark's return to high-level basketball after being sidelined for a long time, people are also fixated on other first-time Team USA players like Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers.

The two young stars are grabbing headlines with their play, so it's natural that people would be paying attention to their first foray into the senior setup. One such interaction of theirs was particularly noteworthy.

Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers' Photo During Team USA Photoshoot Draws Reactions

The Chicago Sky and Dallas Wings stars got together during Team USA's photoshoot. The official FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Instagram page posted their picture.

"Paige and Angel ready for the games in Puerto Rico!" they captioned the photo of Bueckers riding Reese's back while they posed for the camera.

Fans were quick to point out how great the two are.

"Paige fans we up," one avid Bueckers fan wrote.

"Our favs," the Unrivaled 3X3 league commented.

"This is what the fans want to see," another commenter quipped.

"Ahh my day is made," a fan typed. "Love my Paige!"

"Was waiting for this duo to appear!" a Team USA follower said. "The people Paige!!"

One commenter wanted to see more Clark, though. "FIBA stop this, you know what we want and it ain't these two," they shared.

Reese, Bueckers, and the rest of Team USA will face Senegal, Puerto Rico, Italy, New Zealand and Spain on March 11-17.
