Lexie Hull had a big year in 2025. The Indiana Fever guard had her best season yet in the WNBA so far, averaging career-highs of 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game. More importantly, though, she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Will Matthiessen, prior to the campaign.

Hull and Matthiessen, who both met at Stanford, announced their engagement in April 2025. Ever since then, the couple has been planning their wedding.

In an interview with People in November 2025, Hull admitted the challenges of planning their wedding when they are "both so busy." However, she did note that she's enjoying it and is having a lot of fun.

Amid the excitement surrounding her upcoming wedding, though, the specific details about the ceremony have yet to be revealed. In fact, it's unknown exactly when Hull will tie the knot with Matthiessen.

Interestingly, Hull's Fever teammate, Sophie Cunningham, might have provided fans with a hint on when it will happen.

In the latest episode of the "Show Me Something" podcast hosted by Cunningham and her good friend West Wilson, Hull served as guest.

When Cunningham was introducing Hull, she mentioned that Wilson wanted to bring Hull onto the podcast for some time now. That's when she mentioned Hull's wedding month.

Here's how the conversation went:

Cunningham: "This has been a long time coming. We've been like, 'We need Lex on here so bad.' And so it like finally works out."

Wilson: "I've been pitching it for weeks. Obviously, we needed to get her figured out."

Cunningham: "No, I feel like our first episode you're like, 'Hey, can we get Lexi?' I'm like, 'Dude, she's getting married in November. Chill.'

Wilson: "No, I clocked that. I clocked it."

For what it's worth, Hull didn't react to Cunningham mentioning November as her wedding month. There's a possibility that Cunningham was just throwing out a random month.

However, November definitely makes sense. The 2026 WNBA season kicks off on May 8 and ends on September 24. The playoffs then begin just a few days after the end of the regular season and last until early October.

With that said, it makes November an ideal time to get married for her, which should also give her both November and December to settle into her new life.

It's worth noting that Hull has played in Unrivaled for two straight years now, and the 3-on-3 league often starts its season every January. If she decides to play in the competition again, November might really be her best choice to hold her nuptials with Matthiessen.
