Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is soaking up the final weeks of the offseason before the action resumes.

The WNBA's 30th season tips off May 8, with the Fever opening their campaign May 9 against the Dallas Wings.

Cunningham figures to be a key contributor once again under head coach Stephanie White, if and when she signs a contract extension with the Fever in WNBA free agency. In 2025, the 29-year-old averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game across 30 contests.

A torn MCL in August cut that productive run short and forced her to miss the entire postseason

Cunningham aims to bounce back strong for Caitlin Clark and the rest of the squad. She made sure to squeeze in some beach time along the way.

Cunningham stunned her Instagram followers with her latest photo series, swapping her Fever jersey for a bikini aboard a yacht

The 29-year-old guard looked every bit at ease on the water. She even posed with a large fish catch in one of the snaps.

"Haven't worn makeup in a week and my driving style fits in perfectly with the locals," she wrote in the caption.

The post caught the attention of her followers fast. Fever teammate Lexie Hull chimed in first, writing "tan girlllllll."

Fellow WNBA player Aerial Powers responded with a smiling face with hearts emoji.

Fans flooded the comments section as well.

"Omg you're GLOWING," one fan responded.

"Happy soph loveeeeeee," another said.

"I'm shooting my shot part 73 ," a commenter replied.

"Wow ...... Geebus...... My goodness ❤️," a follower added.

Cunningham may be taking some time for herself in the offseason, but there's no denying that she is one of the toughest, most rugged players in the WNBA.

The Fever enforcer has built a reputation for watching her teammates' backs at all times.

That edge will matter plenty for an Indiana squad looking to top last year's 24-20 finish.
