Brock Lesnar's next WWE appearance has been revealed, and it looks increasingly likely that it will kickstart his WrestleMania 42 feud. Lesnar has been making sporadic appearances since returning at SummerSlam last year.
The Beast competed in the Royal Rumble on January 31st but was unable to win the match for the third time in his career. He was thrown out by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight, but he made an impact during his time in the ring.
Lesnar went to blows with the main roster's newest giant, Oba Femi, who was one of the standout performers on the night. The Ruler was the first entrant in the Rumble and lasted 39 minutes, eliminating five participants before he was eliminated.
The Nigerian's dominance came to an end when Lesnar managed to eliminate him but the seeds were sown for the pair to lock horns down the line. That could come as soon as February 23rd when the former UFC heavyweight is set to make his first appearance on RAW since November.
WWE announced Lesnar would appear on RAW a week from Monday and this immediately fuelled talk of a potential segment involving Oba. The announcement didn't mention what his intentions were or whether he was going to be eyeing a spot in the Elimination Chamber with qualifying matches underway.

Lesnar facing Oba at WrestleMania is a match that fans are fully invested in given their similar physiques and dominance in the ring. The pair's Rumble exchange was a teaser of what could be expected at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, if they do go to war.
There is a real possibility that a match between the two super heavyweights will take place at WrestleMania. WWE is reportedly discussing a potential match for Oba's debut at the Show of Shows, per Bodyslam.net.
Oba himself has commented on Lesnar and poked fun at the lack of black wrestlers who have overcome the Beast. He jokingly claimed that Rhodes had done the black community proud by using The American Nightmare's recent promo.
The 27-year-old told No-Contest Wrestling:
"We have to remember, there's one black person that Brock was not able to stop his momentum... "Raheem! Raheem was immune to Brock's stuff. One win for us."
Oba also touched on his interaction with Lesnar at the Rumble:
"We knew what it was from the jump. Now we know we have something, like we really have something. And I think going from here now, we’ll probably have more interaction down the line."
Oba could pick up the biggest win of his young career if he were to defeat Lesnar at Mania in April. WWE could go about booking the match several ways, including a potential shock squash match that takes inspiration from Goldberg's win back at Survivor Series in 2016.
